About the Artist

Michigan artist Barrett Dvorsky started Riga Clay to explore the depths of his creative spirit by turning lifeless balls of clay into beautiful functional art.  Making everything from planters and vases to bowls and other ceramic home goods. His take on style is inspired to incorporate texture and details that help it stand out as a centerpiece.  Working with cues from nature and bending principals of point, line, and plane. he creates timeless ceramic artworks. Reminiscent of a brides beauty on her wedding day or the exquisite branches of a flowering tree.  Using his years of art, design, and painting experience his goal is creations that are truly unique handmade items skillfully crafted to enhance a home for lifetimes to come.
